Medical/ Receptionist
Private Psychiatric Practice/Adults 21yrs old and up.
Our beautiful Psychiatric office is seeking a part-time front office professional to join our team. We are looking for an individual that has excellent customer service skills, is well organized, highly motivated, and able to prioritize responsibilities and willing to handle all situations.
Requirements:
Customer Service is a PRIORITY. This is the MOST important requirement of this position
2 yrs> experience
To be able to work from 25 to 32 hours a week. (possibilities of full-time)
Excellent phone skills (must be able to handle happy and NOT too happy patients)
Takes initiative to identify areas to better maximize productivity
Identify problems and creates solution
Handle multiple task efficiently, and adapts quickly to changes and respond to deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to details
Team player
Punctual and dependable
Familiarity with EMR (We use Practice Fusion EMR system)(this is a very friendly and easy system to use)
Knowledge of insurance guidelines/Medicare/Private insurances
Experience in insurance verification and the use of commercial insurance websites
Follow up on unpaid patients balance
Other jobs as needed
Aware of HIPPA guidelines
Bilingual/Spanish is a plus but in NOT required
Hourly Rate: $11.00
Paid Vacation after one year
