Clinic Dietician Level I and II

Level ICoordinate all phases of nutrition care including nutrition assessment, care planning, monitoring, education and counseling of hospitalized patients and outpatients in a variety of settings.
Perform duties in support of and in compliance with performance improvement plans, JCAHO, and other licensing, accrediting, and regulatoryagencies.
Level IIFunction in a supervisory role as a team leader in addition to the duties and responsibilities of Level I.

Level Io Provide nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy integrated with the patient's medical goals.
o Evaluate, interpret, monitor and document the nutritional status and nutritional needs of hospitalized patients and out patients using established standards of care and practice guidelines.
o Identify and provide age-specific nutrition counseling to meet the cultural needs of the patients and their families.
o Develop, review, update and implement educational materials to meet the needs of patients and professionals.
o Write order for diet, supplement, enteral/parenteral nutrition and laboratory data per hospital policy.
o Function as an integral member of the clinical interdisciplinary team.
o Maintain registered dietitian (RD) status including continuing professional education per the Professional Development Portfolio.
o Precept dietetic interns and provide on the job training for newly hired clinical staff.
o Supervise daily work of dietetic technicians, registered; provide input into evaluation but doesn't directly evaluate their performance.
o Comply with Nutrition Services meeting and attendance standards.
Level IIo Perform all the duties and responsibilities of Level I.
o Complete monthly performance improvement reports.
o Assist the department director in reviewing and updating department policies and procedures.
o Plan and coordinate the work schedule and daily work load of the clinical dietitians and dietetic interns.
o Current BLS card.
o Current physical exam per state or contract regulations.
o Current TB test or chest x-ray.
o Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications include:
Level Io Baccalaureate degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, Nutritional Sciences, Human Nutrition, or comparable major preferred and or per state requirements.
o One year in an acute care environment preferred; experience may be waived for specific positions.
o Current BLS card.
Level IIo Level II Same as Level Io Two years in an acute care environment with one year supervisory experience preferred; experience may be waived for specific positions.
o Successful completion of coordinated program or dietetic internship of not less than 900 hours under the supervision of a Registered Dietitian preferred.
o Level I and II must pass Maxim screening tests with 80% or greater.
o Level I and II must pass criminal background screening.
o Current BLS card.
o Current physical exam per state or contract regulations.
o Current TB test or chest x-ray.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
