Large managed care company is looking for someone experienced with Front Desk Registration.
You will provide administrative support for the clinic, process referrals for Medicare Advantage plan and FFS plan patients, and assist the front office with checking in patients.

Monday - Friday, 8-5 (40 hrs/wk)RESPONSIBILTIESGreets patients as they arrive and manages 20 minute wait timeAssists patient with intake processes including copying required documentsAnswers phones and schedules appointmentsAssist with coordination and processing of all patient referrals for specialty servicesEnter all referral, hospital, outpatient, DME and other patient specialty health service authorizations into the computer system Receives consultant reports, maintains documentation, and routes to the appropriate physician promptlyCompletes all administrative functions associated with referral activities in a timely mannerQUALIFICATIONSHighschool/GED or equivalent2
years of customer serviceHealthcare background, preferably primary care and experience with processing referralsWorking knowledge of medical office procedures and medical terminology.
Ability to accurately sort and file materials by alphabetic or numeric systems.
Ability to multitask, effective time-management, and organization.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and data entry skills.
Experience with eCW (EMR system) is a plusExperience with Medicare Advantage insurance plans is a plusBilingual Spanish speaking is a plusAbout the Company:
